Introduction:

Packaged in newly designed bottles - is an elegant, expressive and layered red wine that captures the pure, fresh taste of the Andes and is made for enjoying with food.

Brimming with aromatic intensity, the bright, fruity Terrazas de los Andes Malbec wine is created from a blend of more than 100 plots, transitioning to organic, where the earth meets the sky at the foothills of the Andes. Blending mountain fruit from our vineyards in the Uco Valley with grapes from the higher terroirs of Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo, is our signature mountain Malbec wine.

Tasting Notes:

This Malbec from Mendoza in the nose is fresh and intensely fruity with black and red fruit flavors like blackberry, plum and strawberry, together with typical violet and mountain spices notes of cold climate Malbec.

In the palate, this Malbec is vibrant and layered, the mouthfeel is fresh and polished, with a good tension and length.

Food Pairing:

This Malbec from Mendoza is food friendly and versatile. It can be paired with several dishes, ingredients and cooking methods such as beef, pork and lamb meat, both grilled or stewed. It also pairs well with different kinds of pasta with tomato sauce or desserts with chocolate, red fruits and nuts.

Blend and Origin:

Terrazas de los Andes Malbec is a blend of 100-plus parcels from eight high-altitude estate vineyards that are in transition to organic.

The fruit grows across the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo at altitudes ranging from 1070m to 1650m.

This 2021 vintage is characterised by lower temperatures than average during the ripening season and slightly above-average rainfall for the key months of January through March.

This cool season meant the grapes were allowed to develop an intense colour and a bright, fruity profile with a vibrant and elegant mouthfeel.
